Every year for the last ten years, thousands of people have converged on the beautiful seaside village of Woolgoolga. They are drawn from near and far to honour the unique cultural heritage, music and cuisine of the area in a celebration known as “Curryfest”.

Curryfest celebrates Woolgoolga’s unique Punjabi heritage. It began as a community celebration but has grown into a newsworthy tourist attraction. International and interstate visitors join with people from all over NSW and lots of locals to dance in the street and enjoy an event which has grown to encompass lead up events as well as a huge festival day.

The entertainment line up will be nothing short of sensational, with the inaugural Bhangra Dance

Competition set to take place on the main stage throughout the Festival, plus loads more

entertainment performing on all the stages throughout the  festival.

And not to be forgotten, the smell of beautiful curry dishes from around world will fill the air, tantalizing your taste buds.

Woolgoolga Curryfest
